✦ OUR STORY

Most Christians don’t struggle with faith.

They’re missing the roots.

FaithRoots started with one simple question: what if the challenge isn’t the Bible but the way we’ve learned to approach it? Many sincere believers quietly skip difficult books, feel disconnected from parts of the Old Testament, or wonder why the God they read about feels different from the God they pray to. That’s not a faith problem. It’s an understanding problem. And FaithRoots was created to help make God’s Word easier to understand one book at a time.

After years of seeing sincere, committed believers quietly drift away from large parts of their Bible skipping Leviticus, avoiding Numbers, and setting aside the Old Testament because the God on those pages felt different from the God they prayed to we asked an honest question: what if the struggle isn’t with the reader? What if it’s the approach?

FaithRoots was created to change that. Not with another reading plan that turns faith into a routine. Not with another overwhelming commentary that feels like it requires theological training. But with something simpler: understanding the roots.

The context behind each of the 66 books who wrote it, when, why, and what was happening in that world at the time explained in clear, simple language that anyone can follow in just a few minutes.

We welcome believers from every background and tradition. Our commitment is to the full message of God’s Word and to helping you truly understand it.

The Bible isn’t just one book. It’s a collection of 66 ancient writings, created over thousands of years across different cultures and languages far removed from our modern world. When you begin to understand the historical and cultural context behind each book who wrote it, when, why, and what was happening at that time the teachings, meaning, and promises throughout Scripture start to come together in a whole new way.

Statement of Faith

Shared openly so you know exactly what we stand for. Every FaithRoots guide is created on this foundation rooted in Scripture, grounded in tradition, and committed to the complete truth of God’s Word.

  • The Holy Scripture

We believe the Bible including both the Old and New Testaments is the inspired, trustworthy, and authoritative Word of God. It serves as the highest and final authority in all matters of faith and daily life (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21).We are committed to teaching the full message of Scripture and do not promote or support ideas that oppose, distort, or reinterpret the clear teaching of God’s Word.

  • The Nature of God

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three equal Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each Person is fully God distinct in role, yet united in essence, purpose, and nature (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Deuteronomy 6:4).

  • The Person and Work of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived without sin, gave His life as the sacrifice for the sins of all who believe, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will one day return in glory to judge both the living and the dead (John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11).

  • Salvation

We believe that salvation comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone not through human effort, personal merit, or works (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 3:23–24; Titus 3:5). True saving faith will naturally produce a life that reflects repentance, but those works are never the foundation of our justification before God.

  • The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer from the moment of salvation, convicts the world of sin, and continues to guide, strengthen, and transform believers throughout their journey with Christ (John 16:8; Romans 8:9–11; Galatians 5:22–23).

  • The Church

We believe in the universal Church the body of Christ made up of all who place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We are committed to supporting believers across different traditions and backgrounds without being tied to any one denomination, recognizing that our unity is found in Christ and His Word.

  • The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal, visible, and bodily return of Jesus Christ. We hold this belief with confidence while remaining humble about the exact timing and order of future events surrounding His return.

  • Eternal Life and Eternal Judgment

We believe in the bodily resurrection of every person those who are saved to eternal life in the presence of God, and those who reject Him to eternal separation from God (John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15).

Our resources are created to help everyday believers engage more confidently with the full message of Scripture not to replace sound biblical teaching, but to remove some of the practical and mental barriers that prevent many Christians from spending time in God’s Word. Our goal is always to lead people back to Scripture itself, never away from it.
